Groupon - Beware - No Refunds!

I purchased a Groupon Local deal for a relative for Christmas for the Motorsport Driving Experience. I then discovered that the person I purchased the gift for was physically unable to participate in the activity due to heart problems. Now I'm being told that Groupon will not refund or give me credit for the deal I purchased. So, Groupon will just keep the $88 I paid for the deal, even though no one will use the item I purchased. That sounds like fraud to me. All other retailers will at least give store credit on returns but not Groupon. I will never purchase from them again. So, beware of what you purchase from them.

Groupon - Horrible Merchant Services

Failed 3 times to launch my campaign. Did not set up my merchant profile correctly. Did not get any business. Not easy to find help. Cannot edit my campaign. Cannot stop my campaign. Rude on the phone. Long phone wait. Planned to take 1/2 of my revenue. Horrible customer service. Worst company to do business with in the history of mankind. This was a horrible experience where I attempted to gain customers by forking over 1/2 of my deeply discounted revenue to an insanely incompetent company with an embarrassingly rudimentary website and poor customer service who NEVER EVEN GOT MY COMPANY ANY BUSINESS!

I gifted my wife a nail and parafin dip at Dana Marie at Salon Concepts Cincinnati ohio. She can and made an appointment which was over 3 months away which she was told was the quickest available. When the day of the appointment came my wife was called and told her flight was delayed and she wouldn't be back in time and they had to cancel and to call back to reschedule. After many many attempts she finally got them to answer... Once again the appointment was made for months away after the expiration of the gift. Once again they called to cancel it and said to call back to reschedule. She never has been able to reach them again. When she called groupon and told the story they said the only thing they could do is escalate it since the voucher expired.. Talked to manager... the same story... My wife does NOT want to go to this place after the hassle and groupon will NOT give a credit to us for this!!!! Since this is a vendor backed by groupon they should cove the credit to our account

FIRST GROUPON STATES THEY DID NOT HAVE MY RETURN, DESPITE MY PROVIDING THEM WITH ALL THE INFORMATION ON THE RETURNED MERCHANDISE INCLUDING DATE AND TIME IT WAS RETURNED TO THE RETURN CENTER. GROUPON FINALLY AGREES THAT, YES, IT DID GET MY RETURN (AFTER THREE MONTHS OF DISPUTE!) BUT THEN STATES AN ORDER OF THE EXACT SAME THING WAS PLACED (THEY CANNOT TELL ME WHO PLACED THE ORDER) AND THAT IT WAS DELIVERED TO ME. NO SIGNATURE, BUT THEY INSIST IT WAS DELIVERED.
