Groupon sent me the wrong item

Not wanting to be too specific about the item, (personal) , I had paid $65.00 for a specific item, but was sent an item that costs only $14.00. It was 2 days past the expected delivery date, and now I'm unable to get in touch with customer service. I've already sent numerous emails to Customer Service, but have yet to hear back from them. I've never had this trouble with Groupon before, and I shop them at least once a month. This is unacceptable. I'm starting to rethink shopping through them anymore.

Ordered a gift for Christmas and it has a UPS number and has for nearly two weeks. Site says it is packed and ready to ship. Used to love groupon. Probably spent 1500$ just this last year. They have got to improve their shipping and service and communicate better with their customers. Horrible. Don't order anything from them if you need it within a month. Seriously.

I have used Groupon a total of 7 times. About 3 years ago I had a similar issue booking a hotel via Groupon an somehow the reservation being booked on different days I selected. I called and after waiting with seemingly no resolve I got the assistance I needed. Due to this pleasant experience I said I'd try Groupon again. It wasn't until last year that I used them again. Unfortunately out of everything I purchased I only used 2 of 5 things I purchased/ gifted so after researching deals for the last 3 days for my anniversary tomorrow, I found a hotel deal. I had previously made reservations for another hotel from Thursday to Saturday of this week for great rates and wanted to surprise my husband with an extra stay at an unexpected place. I chose the Champagne Room and booked after looking several times. When I was purchasing the order the dates were correct 12/2 to 12/3 I was excited. I get my email the date booked is 12/3 to 12/4! I think to myself not again! I immediately call trying to fix it and my announced 8 to 10 minute wait was 30 minutes and once a rep answered he couldn't help and on hold I go again. Finally I spoke with a rep named Dave or so he said, he was rushing me to speak saying hello multiple times even after I told him I'd been waiting so long I put the phone down. I described my issue asked if there was any way he could he as I spoke he basically let me know automatically there wasn't due to the type of purchase I made. He was very sarcastic and not in the last empathetic to my dilemma. He only reassured what I already knew which were the dates booked via the Groupon purchase. He then asked was I satisfied with my experience, absolutely NOT. I attempted to explain how this had happened before, even asked how and gave a reason it may. He didn't appear to care, attempt to help, and sarcastically apologized after I said I wouldn't be using Groupon again. Signed happy 10th anniversary to me...

Worst experience using Groupon!

Through Groupon, we purchased a package of two nights at the Adams Mark Hotel in Kansas City, MO that included 4 passes to their attached water park and $25 arcade credit each day. When we arrived, the hotel told us that Groupon only authorized our 2 night stay and did not authorize the 4 daily water park passes and $25 daily arcade play. We arrived on Thanksgiving night during an ice storm and the hotel did not have a supervisor to talk to, but they said 3 other families had checked in with the same problem, so we figured we would check it out in the morning. I immediately contacted Groupon. They were initially nice, but said we did not purchase the correct package. I then provided them proof from their own website that showed Groupon's claims were incorrect. After this, they refused to respond to us any longer. Our first room at the Adams Mark Hotel had numerous problems. The shower/tub in the bathroom looked like a bigfoot had vomited in it. We also found hair ties on the counters with others hair in them. We were given another room, but it lacked some furniture and wall art. Although it was a "non-smoking" room, it smelled like a cigar bar when we turned on the heat. The TV lacked many advertised channels. Others had such poor reception that they were not worth watching. On our second day, the hotel was without any electricity or heat for at least 4 hours. It was an awful experience over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Groupon - Horrible Company!!!!

They fraudulently charged my account for three items instead of one on Black Friday. They were UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS. When I called the next day to cancel, they could do nothing for me. Not even the supervisory could cancel or refund my order, despite it being FRAUD. They told me to write to the corporate office in Chigaco. I am sure their system was overloaded and it was their mistake. Terrible customer service, and unexpected from such a hige company. I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN! Back to AMAZON!
