Bad customer service
Tried to redeem 2 groupon vouchers purchased recently. One merchants website is indefinitely unavailable & Groupon will not give me a refund or credit.
Second voucher for gym classes was not accepted by merchant because the gyms only accepts 1 offer per customer. I was able to purchase 3. Again after corresponding with Groupon via chats & emails I was denied any refund or trade in stating their policy for cancellations is 3 days after Groupon deal was purchased.
When I tried to reach Groupon customer service by phone, I received a message saying that Groupon no longer offer Customer Service by telephone due to Covid. After all this time & frustration, I will no longer use or recommend using Groupon.
User's recommendation: Don’t use Groupon’s trade in & refund policies have changed dramatically. In the past, issues like mine were easily resolved with a trade in or credit. The 3 day window is rediculous. Their customer service telephone numbers no longer work.
