I'm writing in to express my severe disappointment over the lack of follow up by one of your colleagues when i made a call to your call centre on 1 Oct 14 at around 1500hrs. I believe i spoke to a guy by the name of Jeral (not too sure if i got the spelling right). I highlighted on the inconsistency of the fine print versus the validity of the groupon voucher which caused some confusion resulting in the lapse of the collection at the collection centre (see attachment). Do note that technically, the lapse would have been on 27 Sep 14 and i called in on 1 Oct. Instead of attending to my query with a suitable response, i was told that i had to wait another 7 days for a reply which is rather absurd and that would add another 7 days to the lapse of the collection date. When pressed further, he seems pretty anxious to hang up the call and keeping repeating the same old clause and terms and conditions and when asked to speak to someone senior, he abruptly hung up the call which i felt was rather rude. Now if this is the kind of service Groupon is providing, then, i am utterly disappointed. I also wish to highlight the extremely poor quality of the call signal which Groupon is using which i presume if a VoIP standard. This episode has left a sour afternote. Anyway, i have copied Case Singapore on this matter in this email and will pursue this through official channels if i don't get a clear resolution to my inquest. By the way, the individual i mentioned has yet to provide me with a written follow up on our converation yesterday despite my reminding him to during the conversation.

Groupon in New Rochelle, New York - Did not receive

Purchased a Shell Gift card on September 5 and did not receive it by September 18. E mailed Groupon and they said to confirm address. E-mail them back on the 20 to confirm address and again on the 24th and again on the 25th. Called headquarters and was told they resubmitted it on the 24th and it would take another 7 to 10 business days to get it. What a rip off this company is. Darn quick to take money out of my account but very lax in getting your merchandise to you. Very poor customer service representative. Girl could have cared less. Public be on the lookout for these robbers.

Groupon - Dog Bed, Sofa covers

Garbage, cheesey, Made in China...did i say Garbage,,sending it all back..what a waste of time!!! Never again Groupon....nothing like the pictures,,, you couldn,t get what you say the original prices " should be" by a long shot! I hope everyone sends these poor quality products back...like buying the junk they try to sell inside the coupon circulars, only worse! Dissapointing all the way around..like they say, you get what you pay for! Don't need to say more...100 words? And waste more of my time? I'm so sick of false advertising!!! Don't buy Groupins stuff....Junk, chinsy, cheap, thin, poor quality,,,need i go on?

Groupon in Tampa, Florida - Children's Name Labels from DINKLEBOO

i Ordered the deal for kids name labels on 9/1/14 and the invoice states delivery in 10-15 working days. It is now day 20, just contacted the company and the company rep says delivery will be in at least 7 more working days as these are shipping from Australia! Yikes! Would have never ordered these had I known it would take this long AND that they are being made outside the USA! Bad customer service on from DINKLEBOO which is a bad reflection on Groupon :( I will still joyfully do business with Groupon, but not be doing any more business with DINKLEBOO!

 I HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL GROUPON DISCOUNT VOUCHERS AND ON LOOKING AT MY CREDIT CARD BILL, I FIND I HAVE HAD OVERSEAS TRANSACTION CHARGES ADDED BY GROUPON, BECAUSE THE PAYMENTS APPARENTLY GO THROUGH AN OVERSEAS COUNTRY. THIS IS NOT IDENTIFIED AT THE PURCHASE TIME. I HAVE RAISED THIS SEVERAL TIMES WITH GROUPON AND I HAVE DECIDED TO NO LONGER USE GROUPON. OTHER UNHAPPY GROUPON CUSTOMERS COULD DO THE SAME. THE FOREIGN TRANSACTION CHARGES HAVE OCCURRED ON TRAVEL INCLUDING HOTELS AND OTHER PURCHASES. I FEEL THE ACCC SHOULD BE MORE INVOLVED IN POLICING THIS SORT OF BEHAVIOUR. I thought I purchased a 2-day stay at a resort from the Groupon website, as advertised on-line, for $79 per night. It took Groupon many hours to get me a receipt and when I looked at it I found that it was not correct….not only was it for only one night, but it was the wrong date, and they charged me for twice the advertised price. When I contacted Groupon as well as the resort, they both told me I would have to take it up with the other… meanwhile it was past the time for cancellation due to their slow service. The website I purchased from was incorrect, misleading and had terms that are illegal. I was stalled past the deadline for cancellation due to slow response and other means of putting me off. I could not, and did not use the reservation and now Groupon says they will not refund my $164.95. In essence, Groupon took my $164.95 for a resort stay that never happened and their answer is that I bought this by mistake, but since the cancellation deadline passed, I must forfeit the money to them. I know I am just a single person against a large corporation, but I long for the days of real customer service and care for the patron. In my business the customer's satisfaction is guaranteed -- the customer is always right! Groupon doesn't seem to need my continued business.

We ordered a cell phone for a potentially good deal. It has been 2 weeks and still no sign of it being delivered. Groupon is good for instant deals but products take a long time to receive and you would be better off just going to get it at the local store or ordering it on amazon, ebay, or overstock. We contacted Groupon and they stated that we have to wait until the fine print delivery window (which we admit that we didn't see until after we ordered) has ended before they could do anything. They should make this in clear, bold print as a disclaimer prior to ordering their products because we would have not ordered this phone.

Groupon Very Misleading

I bought a house cleaning Groupon deal. I put in my profile only send offers to my zip code. I followed directions to get an appointment to clean my house and was told they do not come to my zip code. Emailed Gropon and received a response 3 days later telling me to "read the fine print", even though I requested only deals in my area. And I only had 3 days for refund. I think Groupon is a snake oil business. A 3 day refund window? Most businesses have 30 day money back policy. Not Groupon, they prey on busy people.
