Groupon in Houston, Texas - Be Careful!

Bought a $100 deal for $50. I could never reach the business after trying to contact them for over a month. I contacted Groupon and they asked me to be patient. They said that they would contact the business and all would be straightened out. After several back and forth emails with Groupon they kept asking me to be patient but they were never able to get the business to respond. When I asked for a refund they offered me Groupon Bucks. I wanted my card credited, but Groupon would only issue $50 worth of Groupon bucks. They would not give me back my money!

Groupon in Whitby, Ontario - Arnaqueur...partenaires non fiables

J'ai fait 4-5 achats via groupon. Premierèment, n'achetez jamais un article qui doit être livré à moins de vouloir etre deçu. Le delai de livraison n'a jamais été respecté, ou bien vous ne recevez jamais l'article ou bien il arrive plusieurs semaines apres la date prévu. J'ai dernièment voulu faire l'achat d'un matelas mousse mémoire, quel erreur. Le matelas était payé depuis 3 mois et je ne l'avais pas reçu, le service à la clientèle n'avait rien a me dire, il n'avait pas plus d'info, apres plusieurs conversation ils m'informent que le partenaire ne donne plus aucun signe de vie et groupon me rembourse finalement. Attention, ils mont tout d'abord donné 700$ en credit groupon, j'ai du rappeler pour avoir çe remboursement sur ma carte......Voila, il y a 2 semaines j'achete le special vitres teintees chez go auto lounge a laval, jme dis que je devrais etre ok avec un certificat, encore une fois un erreur. J'appel a plusieurs reprises pour prendre rendez vous avec le partenaire et j'obtiens sans arret une boite vocale sans retour d'appel. Je me presente alors en personne au 1613 autoroute 440 a laval chez go auto lounge pour me rendre compte que le commerce est fermé, portes barrées, aucune lumieres, le commerce semble avoir fait faillitte...Groupon fait affaire avec des partenaires pas fiable.....fuir....fuir...fuir Groupon

Groupon deceived me

I bought 4 tickets for my family to Catalina. After paying for the tickets, I printed the voucher. About 3 days later, they sent me an email to cancel the tickets. Groupon in Cicero, Illinois - I bought a ultimate package but was shipped a standard package messager

I recently purchased a ultimate package massager worth 49.99 + tax which comes out to be 55$. They ship the product after 3 weeks , but they send me a cheaper deal which they were offering it for 39.99. After tons of email back and forth with the support team, they acknowledge it was a mistake. But refuses to correct it. They ask me to ship it back to them and told me if this product qualify for a refund them might be able to refund me. ( not sure what happen if they mark this as min refundable which I think this product is) This company is full of junky tricks. They fraud their customer left and right. For good 3-4 years I use to groupon for everything I need. But I learn my Lesson the hard way. I can't stand being fooled an that is exactly what I feel right now. I hope the executive C reads this and fixes their fraudulent tricks. Obaid

Groupon phone app easily hacked and they know about and do nothing

I received 2 'purchase confirmed' emails for 2 items I did not order. I was able to cancel the '32"TV/DVD' player but could not cancel the '10 bottles of sleep MD pills'. The orders were place at the same time on Saturday 8/3/13 at 9:17amET. I did not see my email until Sunday morning 8/4. I could not contact Groupon via phone because it was a Sunday so I went to there support page and sent them an email with the order info and explained I did not order. Well, I got a message that "sometimes customers accidently make purchases using the Groupon mobile app...this may be what happened." Then they go on to tell me how to prevent this in the future but also tell me they can't refund me because the 10 bottles of sleeping pills are the final sale. I contacted Groupon via phone on Monday, 8/4 and they refuse to help. Basically the Groupon App is not secure enough and it is a KNOWN issue yet they do not tell their consumers until AFTER it happens. I'm working with my credit card company but will never use GROUPON again. They are a big company and they are sticking it to the consumer.

Groupon in Amherst, Massachusetts - Refused refund

My wife bought a coupon that she wanted to cancel. She was told that the office was so busy that they couldn't handle her transaction and took her info. She expected a call back from them and it never came. By the time she got in touch with them a second time, the coupon had expired and they are refusing to acknowledge any of her prior contacts, even though her name and account info was taken while the coupon was still valid. Phone calls today received the same refusal. We use groupon often, but will be reconsidering our involvement in the future.

I bought "$11.99 for an Oral-B 12-Pack of Replacement Toothbrush Heads ($60 List Price)" from Groupon. The product is low-quality junk. It is not Oral-B, but some kind of "compatible" variety. It breaks after 3-5 uses instead of holding up for 3 months as Oral-B would....

I bought the exact same thing from Groupon. Although even after 2 months I never received it.

It took groupon 2 months to refund me. A ten dollar value took all this time to investigate. Groupon's reply time is far less than par and they're email communication is faulty as I am asked to reply to an email only to receive 2 other emails stating the replied account doesn't take inbound message and please visit their website to communicate with them.

I am extremely unsatisfied and not happy with them. I don't recommend them anymore nor will I continue to purchase from Groupon

Groupon in Markham, Ontario - Horsback Riding Lesson

Groupon oversold this deal, over 730 people bought it, and Ajax Riding Academy is a small business that explained why always nobody answered the business phone. I tried over 20 times via phone & email, and finally make an appointment. The appointment is 4 months after the expire day, but they confirmed which is no problem at all as they didn't have any earlier appointments. But now they broke their promise and refused to accept my unredeemed Groupon voucher. I tried to contact Groupon, they refused to issue the refund and suggested to give it to friends to make it simple. Such good suggestion.Both Groupon and Ajax Riding Academy provided substandard customer service.

Groupon in Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur - Very disappointed consumer

I purchased a 2 person deal from groupon (senses hair & beauty saloon), according to the T&C, customers have to fix appointment a minimum of 3 days before, and indeed I booked a 3 days before, I called on tuesday afternoon and fixed appointment for Friday afternoon 3:00pm... on Friday due to traffic jam we were 10 minutes late and arrived at 3.10pm. The receptionist was very very rude and said 'your late and have to cancel the appointment!!!' Me and my friend were dumbfounded, we were only 10 minutes late and no it did not state in the T&C that customers will be treated rudely and chased away because they were 10 minutes late!. As we specifically took half day leave from office and travelled over 20km in a very bad traffic, the least they could do is tell us politely but no... they were rude and said 'we got no time for u', never have I been treated like that in my life.
