Groupon is now deleted from my phone. they suck!

Ordered 2 sets of magazines but charged for 3 but never got one magazine. I was told after 3 attempts to call blue dolphin....? ordered some blood work coupon that my insurance covered, they would not refund. They do not stand behind anything their website preaches. The last girl was so rude and snooty. I hate groupon. Will never use them or refer them to anyone. Do not load or go on groupon, it's not worth you time or money. When I first signed up, it was good. I guess they got to money hungry. I really hope the fair trade commission shuts them down. They only rip people off.

Groupon - Refused refund

My wife bought a coupon that she wanted to cancel. She was told that the office was so busy that they couldn't handle her transaction and took her info. She expected a call back from them and it never came. By the time she got in touch with them a second time, the coupon had expired and they are refusing to acknowledge any of her prior contacts, even though her name and account info was taken while the coupon was still valid. Phone calls today received the same refusal. We use groupon often, but will be reconsidering our involvement in the future.

Groupon - READ THE FINE PRINT!! Don' be baited!

I bought a groupon for eyeglasses at Family Care. I failed to read the fine print in their email which stated that the groupon was not good if you have health care that provides for eye care. The above information was not printed on the coupon. Family Care refused to honor the coupon and Groupon refused to give me credit for any future Groupon deals. I asked Groupon to remove me from their membership. Their rep reminded me that I should have read the fine print. In other words, "Let the buyer beware." Don't let your initial excitement over a deal cause you to ignore caution.

GROUPON's False Offers

I saw an offer for a vacuum and purchased it right away (within minutes). by the end of the day, I rec'd a generic email stating there was a problem with processing my order. They have my information & credit card, what could they have had a problem with???? I am fed up with Groupon's automated generic emails apologizing why they could not fulfill my order but don't tell you the reason. I've purchased Groupons where the have gone out of business, won't honor the Groupons as advertised or the merchants stink! PLUS, unless you work in a bank, their customer service hours are horrible. I am placing my complains with the BBB today!

Groupon added expiration date three months after I purchased coupons

I bought two coupons from Groupon.com on November 4, 2012. The confirmation email I received from Groupon the same day stated that there was no expiration date for either coupon. On February 25, 2013, I received an email from Groupon "reminding" me to use my coupons before they expired on March 4, 2012. I emailed Groupon support numerous times refuting the expiration date, and each time was told that they could "not change the expiration date." I had to send Groupon a copy of the no-expiration confirmation email twice, and finally received a response from "Joe B" on 3/1 Friday evening (after close of business) that again Groupon could NOT change the expiration, that the original confirmation with no expiration was "a fluke," and that I could contact them Monday morning, a day AFTER the coupons are apparently due to expire. I've filed formal complaints on line with the Department of Consumer Affairs in both NYC (where I live) and Chicago.

Groupon - Terrible Customer Service

I recently purchased a coupon for a local restaurant. Shortly thereafter the restaurant closed and the owner of the restaurant said to get a refund from Groupon. I emailed Groupon's service with evidence of the closing. They then commenced sending me pre-scripted emails and lied saying that the restaurant was still open and that they were working with the owner. I emailed them repeatedly requesting a refund to my credit card and I was virtually ignored for over a week. Groupon clearly has no desire to refund me. This was the first time that I purchased something from Groupon and it's going to be the last.

Groupon not welcome

Groupon or any of the other coupon services doesn't really have a place in the mainstream of our industry. I know of very few products or services, that appeal to the mass market , that any of us could afford to discount in the 30% to 50% range that we could sell large quantities of and then send a check to the coupon company for the other half of the other half of the sale, that wouldn't hammer our businesses. The closest I could come is full color business cards at 50% off that I could then afford to give 45% or 50% revenue to the coupon company. And F/C cards are free on my web site so that won't work either. If I was just starting out or could cut a deal with a carrier for a subsidy that would be different, but the carriers aren't that flexible with us.
