Groupon in Hambleden, Buckinghamshire - Customer service verging on the fraudulent

I ordered some printer cartridges on the 11th of October, they never arrived. When I contacted Groupon via voice chat, they said to wait 8 more days, I did, no sign of the parcel. Contacted Groupon again, 2 days after each query (which no longer has the voice chat option I might add) they answer with "we are still looking into this" Never do they reply answering the specific question I ask, i.e. "My goods haven't arrived, please send some more and notify me this time that they are despatched, or refund me at least"....instead it is a pre-formed reply, "we are receiving an unusually large amount of emails, please be patient, we are looking into your issue". So, generic, non-committal customer service from Groupon, who have 60 of my hard earned pounds without providing me with the goods I paid for, and no seeming way to get above their infernal, bull sh***ing "reply" "service". Be warned.

I have lost track of how many times things have gone badly, so I end up calling/writing Groupon-hours of my time doing THEIR job & solving the issue myself. They seriously don't care, even looking at the corporate site, it's sad to see how many complaints there are & facebook has it's own page dedicated solely to helping people with Groupon issues. I'm finally done with this company after more than 10 years, giving them time after time of chances (them asking). For the last time I'm done letting them know that I had a problem with a merchant, then doing my own research, sending another message just to get another generic message that has NOTHING to do with what I wrote-even when it's to THEIR benefit! No one ever reads e-mails, they never respond accordingly & I'm done responding telling them this as well as calling asking to speak only with a supervisor to repeat the same things over & over again. Groupon goods not working & merchants not responding or refusing to book a service. Then even more upsetting after informing Groupon & things being escalated yet nothing being done. I did what they had about a week to do in less than 12 hrs! I'm a decent person, first wanted to help out the consumer, Groupon & after knowing the truth, being fair needed to make it right for the merchant! Why should I have to do all this work? How many ways does Groupon have to prove they don't care about anyone who works with them...consumer or merchant? I've solved so many issues & now will try to solve another one...being the one I have selected below since Groupon still clearly doesn't want to.

I added up just a few more hours of my time for solving a Groupon issue. This includes extreme aggravation (detrimental to my health condition) trying to GIVE them this information & getting another unprofessional e-mail.

Refund/Cancellation issue with Groupon

Sept. 9th,2016 I ordered 2 Jaxx FitPaks from Groupon thinking I was getting the best deal. When I submitted my order it stated 2-3 week time period to ship. It was then I researched and found the same product on Amazon with same day shipping. I proceeded to cancel my order within 5 minutes of placing it. Cancelling both items, and getting confirmation that they had been cancelled. Fast forward to today Sept 14th, 2016 I was only credited for 1 item, the other is still a charge on my CC. Spoke to customer service who restated the 2 hour cancellation window, and that the shipment was already out for delivery and nothing they could do. Checked my account and the order isn't even processing yet. So that was lie #1. Spoke to a supervisor who told me that they couldn't do anything, and then said if i could provide the cancellation code provided via email they could escalate it and get it cancelled. Low and behold never received in my email the cancellation confirmation OR supposed tracking information. So there is lie #2. I asked for them to escalate and cancel the product and she said there was nothing she could do. I asked for her to email them, told only communication, and have them cancel and provide my phone number. The supervisor hung up me without getting my contact information for call back. Word to the wise save the hassle and contact the manufacturer directly or order from Amazon. Same price, faster shipping. Now I have money tied up on my credit card, and have to wait for the package, then return it wasting my time and money in the process.

When I bought and received the watch for my wife on her Birthday, I was embarrassed that it didn't work at all.Hoping that it may have been a dead battery we got it replaced..........no luck. Seems like there isn't anyone from customer service to discuss this issue...

Groupon in Fayetteville, Georgia - Incorrectly charged the card on file instead of of the card I requested it to charge

When I placed my order I put in the card information that I wanted it to charge and it charged another card on file rather than asking me to complete the new card information on my account. Very unsatisfied with this card service information and as a result will be out the funds on my debit card when I wanted to use a credit card. I called 2 days after to find out why and they said they couldnt change it unless I returned the item and wait until the funds were returned which they couldnt tell me how long it would take.

Groupon - Customer Care Review from Fort Lauderdale, Florida

I have purchased a watch for my husbands birthday on March 18th, 2016. On March 21st my groupon account had an updates that product was shipped and since then (now March 31st) I have no update, no help from customer service: I have been hunged up on, promised to hear back within 48 hours and NOONE had stepped up to the plate to assist in any way whatsoever: they charged my card the date of purchase and seem to have forgotten that I still need the product delivered. Worst nightmare ever!!!!
