Terrible customer service at Groupon

I paid for a service I never received. They told me I would be refunded. It has been three months and all customer service does is lie to me, despite the fact that I have a bank statement as proof of purchase. Terrible customer service. I will never do business with them again.

Groupon - Should be named "CRAP-ON"

Tried to buy something small for only $30 (a Sam's Club membership). Site kept rejecting my card, saying "your billing information is incorrect". I verified that it was correct with the bank. Only C/S is by "chat" and all of the chat reps have Indian names (that alone should tell you something). A different rep responds every time you answer their response to your request; there's no consistent thread, so nothing gets resolved. Each new rep in the chain asks the exact same questions and makes the exact same suggestions. Dealing with them is like being Bill Murray in Groundhog Day! Sam's Club C/S said that they get calls all day long from people paying for things that Groupon never delivers. Their BBB report shows 96% negative reviews and 4,414 customer complaints!

Groupon - You can't return the broken garbage they send

I had to argue with 3 different customer service people about a piece of junk phone charger that died after 2 months. They said they wouldn't refund or exchange since it was after the first 14 days. Then she hung up on me! Their stuff is dollar store (Walmart) junk. SERIOUSLY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES. I had to file a grievance with American Express, and I won. It should have been refunded or exchanged before I spent way too much time to get back $29. I have bought some decent items from Groupon, but now I will never buy from them again, only because the customer service was so terrible.

My Hairdresser used Groupon to attract customers ...... after a few clients Groupon contacted Hairdresser to tell her her account info was wrong so they could not pay her ...... she responded to clear things up but they just kept saying the account info was wrong ...... so Hairdresser is out the money and Groupon is no attempt to clear up the matter .... Goupon made a few payments to Hairdresser then all of a sudden the info is wrong ...... give me a break ...... Hairdresser informed Groupon to take her Ad down but they don't ..........Hairdresser has clients come in but informs them she is not honoring Groupon anymore ......then customer try to get refund from Groupon and they are informed that there is no refund .......... This is a total Scam ripoff outright theft going on by Groupon as one small person my Hairdresser feels helpless ........can anybody help ..... she is in Ft Lauderdale

l bought a Groupon voucher for Bellage Cosmetics-Red Carpet facial (originally valued @ 250.00) for $85. l called the receptionist twice two days in a roll. She let it goes to voicemail and only text back to me a day later. l asked to speak with her instead of texting about the facial appt, but she refused and start taking longer to text back. So l texted and said l hope its not a robot that gonna service my facial... She then texted back and asked me to go ahead and do a refund with Groupon! l texted back and said l will and thank her for such a 'good personal touch experience!' Groupon did credit me back the amount l paid and l did bought another company's facial but really feel they are not providing quality service... Do not ever buy any package from this company...they made me feel like an *** instead of what they advertised - 'Red Carpet' service!

Groupon - Beware - No Refunds!

I purchased a Groupon Local deal for a relative for Christmas for the Motorsport Driving Experience. I then discovered that the person I purchased the gift for was physically unable to participate in the activity due to heart problems. Now I'm being told that Groupon will not refund or give me credit for the deal I purchased. So, Groupon will just keep the $88 I paid for the deal, even though no one will use the item I purchased. That sounds like fraud to me. All other retailers will at least give store credit on returns but not Groupon. I will never purchase from them again. So, beware of what you purchase from them.

FIRST GROUPON STATES THEY DID NOT HAVE MY RETURN, DESPITE MY PROVIDING THEM WITH ALL THE INFORMATION ON THE RETURNED MERCHANDISE INCLUDING DATE AND TIME IT WAS RETURNED TO THE RETURN CENTER. GROUPON FINALLY AGREES THAT, YES, IT DID GET MY RETURN (AFTER THREE MONTHS OF DISPUTE!) BUT THEN STATES AN ORDER OF THE EXACT SAME THING WAS PLACED (THEY CANNOT TELL ME WHO PLACED THE ORDER) AND THAT IT WAS DELIVERED TO ME. NO SIGNATURE, BUT THEY INSIST IT WAS DELIVERED. Groupon - Customer service verging on the fraudulent

I ordered some printer cartridges on the 11th of October, they never arrived. When I contacted Groupon via voice chat, they said to wait 8 more days, I did, no sign of the parcel. Contacted Groupon again, 2 days after each query (which no longer has the voice chat option I might add) they answer with "we are still looking into this" Never do they reply answering the specific question I ask, i.e. "My goods haven't arrived, please send some more and notify me this time that they are despatched, or refund me at least"....instead it is a pre-formed reply, "we are receiving an unusually large amount of emails, please be patient, we are looking into your issue". So, generic, non-committal customer service from Groupon, who have 60 of my hard earned pounds without providing me with the goods I paid for, and no seeming way to get above their infernal, bull sh***ing "reply" "service". Be warned.
