I have been trying to obtain a cash refund on two services I purchased from the same vendor. The vendor after speaking with me prior to purchase refused to do the work as he claimed it was larger than what was purchased.
The vendor instructed me on what to pruchase and them claimed he never did. He also canceled several appointment prior to finally showing up.
The Vendor agreed to refund my money since he refused to do the Job.
I believe he knew that Groupon would not refund anything.
Groupon refused to refund my money to the source of pruchase, after several attempts and being promised that a supervisor would call (which never happened), You can not call Groupon and speak to anyone only via chat so I do have a record of them finally refunding my money which has not occurred even though it has been over 10 days since this occurred. They stated it could take up to 10 days.
I AM ACTUALLY CONSIDER TAKING THEM AND THE MERCHANT TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT.
User's recommendation: Never buy anything or service from Groupon.
Monetary Loss: $233.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Groupon Cons: Can not speak to anyone at groupon.
