Zero help over a weeks time

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I closed one business and opened another. the old business info keeps overshadowing the new in the contract, reviews and about info.

service rep after rep keeps telling me they cannot help me, that they will have someone contact me. that it will be priority , 2 day response. not one person has been of any help, nor has anyone contacted me in a week of promises, 4 different reps , days of trying to get help. meanwhile, im trying to get a campaign out before xmas- but i cant get anyone to help me!

im so thoroughly disgusted with Groupon i cant tell you.

i have given a lot of my money as a merchant to Groupon. but ive gotten complete disrespect in return.

Fraudulent practices

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

They advertise promo codes but don't let you use them. They hard code in a lower promo code that gives half the discount you would get with the promo code they emailed you or.sbow when you log.in. they're doing this 1. To save money 2. Hoping you'll come back and spend more money.

All you have to do to figure out how they're doing this is look at their coding on their website or in their app. There's code in there specifically to apply their SAVEMORE promo code and coding to prevent users from removing that promo and adding ones like saveinmay or welcome which are 20% savings vs 10 % so this is what I wrote to them. Oh also there is no easy way to get a human on their site. It took me 30 mins to figure out how to get a page where I could write my complaint but then they give you the option to email or chat. I first chose email but I don't think that works because I got a message to click the chat icon on the right and a message telling me volume is high so wait time is approx 90 mins. I went out came.back pasted same complaint and chose chat this time. Surprise! Same exact message. But when you look at the page for the chat icon guess what? There isn't one! So how the *** are you supposed to EVER CONTACT GROUPON WITH ISSUES. That's why I'm following this advice "

report manipulative sales practices by corporations, the primary agency to contact is the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). You can also report these practices to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) if the practices involve financial products or services.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Federal Trade Commission (FTC):

The FTC is the nation's consumer protection agency, and it's responsible for enforcing laws that prevent unfair, deceptive, and fraudulent business practices. They can investigate and take action against companies that break these laws. You can report fraud, scams, and unfair business practices through their official reporting platform, ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB):

The CFPB's mission is to protect consumers in financial markets from unfair, deceptive, or abusive practices. If the manipulative sales practices involve financial products or services like loans, credit cards, or investments, the CFPB may be the appropriate agency to contact.

Additional Information:

The FTC and CFPB also collect reports from consumers and law enforcement partners to help them identify and address potential violations.

If you are concerned about potential securities fraud or market manipulation, you can also report it to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

I have a promo code in my email that states the following

20% Off On Your Next Local Purchase

Set up your account and use your exclusive code at checkout of your first purchase

Code WELCOME

But when I go to make my purchase you apply a different promo code that only gives me approximately 5% off and there's no way to remove that promo code.

My sister is also having the same issue

There's a promo code for the month of May with a 20% off but she has the same problem when she tries to purchase something you guys automatically apply to save more coupon or promo code which is only 10% off

That's a huge difference between 10% and 20%

So neither of us can use promo code welcome or may promo Code. It's automatically applying a promo savemore Code for way less of a discount than the may coupon or my welcome promo and you automatically apply it without allowing us to select it and at check out YOU DONT LET US REMOVE IT TO APPLY THE ONE WE WANT!

My account I can't use may promo code bc you automatically apply savemore

My sister can't use her welcome 20% off first purchase because again you apply the same savemore 10% coupon and if she uses that then she can't use her 20% welcome because she will have already made a purchase and it won't apply because it will no longer be her first purchase so your promo codes are a SCAM & IF not resolved after I report this to the BBB I'm filing in small claims - yes I will file in small claims because my court fees are waived since I'm on disability.

You hard coded in forcing everyone to use the SAVEMORE promo code. I looked at your coding on your website and app.

What you're doing is illegal because it's false advertising a promotion that your customers can't use and in my sisters case, if she uses your SAVEMORE she can't come back and use welcome.promocode bc welcome is only eligible for first purchase.

Clearly your goal is to get people to come back and make another purchase with their other code and that's also illegal so I'm filing in court and reporting to all the government groups that oversee manipulative sales practices like these, I'm reporting to my state attorney general, BBB and

I purchased a Groupon for Teleflora several weeks ago, then received email from Groupon that it was about to expire, but I could not redeem it because the redeem button opened an empty Groupon folder.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I bought a Groupon several weeks ago for Teleflora flower delivery; however, the Groupon disappeared and expires on 11/27. I wanted to use it to send Thanksgiving flowers to a friend.

The redeem Groupon button does not work. I tried contacting Groupon by their own email links, which said I needed to verify my email with a code.

However, they never sent the code, and I have tried at least 10 times. Therefore, this Groupon was a complete waste of time and money, similar to other experiences I've had with this company, Groupon.

SCAM SCAM SCAM REFUND POLICY

Groupon - SCAM SCAM SCAM REFUND POLICY
Original review updated Nov 29, 2025

Hello. I was over charged by Groupon.

I just saw my credit card statement and was charged for the same item twice, not once. I reached out to them for a refund and they said its past the three day return policy. I only just saw charges now. They are trying to give me credits, I want my CC refunded.

I made appointments with the vouchers I purchased immediately.

I had no receipt from them charging me for FOUR. Its $150.

I want it BACK! Not in credits, either.

Bought a Groupon for Teleflora weeks ago, expiring tomorrow, but could not redeem because the redeem button on the Groupon email takes me to my Groupon, which says none. Impossible.

I purchased tickets to the Princess Resort for the Pumpkin Fest. We arrived and redeemed our tickets, and as we were at the gate, they were sending everyone home for the night due to heavy rain.

I called the resort to reschedule, and they said to call Groupon because that's where I bought the tickets. Groupon has yet to give me a refund, reschedule, or even give Groupon bucks. My mom bought the same thing, and they gave her Groupon bucks back, while I have yet still not received anything. I am frustrated because I am out of $115, which I wanted to reschedule to take my kids.

This is my first time using Groupon and may be my last if they can't fix something I had no control over. I emailed them on Saturday, and it is now Thursday.

I bought five photo books through Groupon from Printerpix.

First, Groupon charged me twice for the set of five books.

Second, it will not allow me to order the fifth book on the coupon stating that it has already been used. I have reached out to customer service at Groupon and Printerpix (5 days ago) but have heard nothing from them.

Also, Groupon has NO customer service that you can talk to. You must email them and just hope they respond.

So, how do I go about making sure that my purchase went through?

Craigs Moving Services robbed me!

Groupon - Craigs Moving Services robbed me!
Updated by user Dec 03, 2025

Do not use them. They do not share all price information until you've paid for what you think is a discount.

Original review Nov 18, 2025
No one. I mean NO ONE.

Please don't use Craigs Moving Services. They are awful. The more I go through my things, I'm finding a lot of broken items. They broke my daughter's vanity and almost dropped her TV.
First of all, Craig will talk you into buying from him and not Groupon.

Secondly once you buy, he calls you back with a list of prices to even begin so your not getting a deal.
They were 2 hours late. When they arrived, it was a haul and the men walked very slow so time would add up. What took them 5 hours could've taken my husband and I 3 hours. The worst.

Craig sat on his fat button and watched them young boys pack and unpack the truck twice. They left my daughters wheel chairs and all my plants.
This was the worst move due to the unprofessional Owner and Staff.
We ended up paying this guy $500 before he left because he had additional pricing due to him adding a third person. We paid for 2 people. So all together it was 4 of them and it was 5 hours long.

Slow walking and talking.
The picture attached shows no mirror on the back and a missing shelf due to them breaking it off.
No one buy this groupon.

I had never received any notice. I was told by a rep to contact Groupon after 7/4/25 due to the holiday for a refund. I contacted Groupon on 7/7/2025 and never heard back. On 10/18/25, I contacted them about the refund and was told I would receive a refund to Groupon Credit only!

When I asked to be refunded to the original form of payment, I was told that could only happen when I notified them 3 days from purchase!

How can that be if the event is days after purchase and you don't know of the cancellation until you get there!! Be advised of this policy and how disgusting that they don't give you back your money!

"report manipulative sales practices by corporations, the primary agency to contact is the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

If you are concerned about potential securities fraud or market manipulation, you can also report it to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)",& since Groupon is a public company investors won't like this

And my. Sisters account is ava.nicole0902@***.com

At the end they give you option to email or chat.

I emailed the. Went back and redid the entire process and checked chat and look at the screenshot. It says click the chat icon on right side of the screen but guess what?

IT. DOESN'T EXIST!

Do not purchase groupons for ANY AAG car services.

Original review updated Sep 25, 2025
I got a Groupon to get my car detailed by AAG in Homewood. When I pulled up, Frank said to come the next day at 10 am.

He said the Groupon was good, but that it would be $20 more to use a solvent to clean my seats and to armor all the dash. He said the Groupon covered vacuuming and a cleaning of the interior. Well, I dropped it off the next day for the service. I was called to pick it up around 3 - their closing time.

When I picked it up, nothing was different. Everything was still dusty, I had crumbs on the back seats, and the floors were not vacuumed. I took pictures and I'm now looking for ways to report this. As far as the extra $20 is concerned, after I complained about the work that wasn't done, he took $10 off.

Initially, he told me to cash app him the extra but then took my card. There's a sign saying the card reader is down, but that's a lie. It works. I won't be back.
Groupon, please reconsider allowing them to advertise on your platform.
The pictures were taken immediately after service was 'provided'.

I left my truck with them for 4 hours for a detail and this is what it looked like at pick-up.

Never again... plus, they tried to charge an additional $20.

I made a purchase through the app and it went to someone else's email address. It didn't ask for mine. I would like to cancel my order and buy later.
